The Bump is a custom portrait and hand-drawn by our in-house artists using your reference photo to create an heirloom keepsake piece of art. This piece is from our new Luxury Woodland Wares collection of home decor. It is loved as a wall-hanging (hanger not included) and also absolutely adorable on a plate stand or easel. 

The Bump is a masterpiece of tasteful craftsmanship and heirloom quality. Crafted from the finest Cherry hardwood that we personally sustainably harvest on our land, it is meticulously hand-drawn, laser engraved and finished by our artisans at The Firefly Fields. This custom artwork exudes elegance and sophistication. Its design features simple yet intricate details and the graceful curves of the pregnant body, honoring the absolute magic of the transformations of the body of the mother during pregnancy. Why do we LOVE this product?

The Bump • Custom Plaque is from our Homestead Harvested™ wooden line of products. The wood is locally kiln dried and rough cut before returning to us where we allow the wood to properly age, cut the boards to size, hand-sand (through three grits of sandpaper) and engrave them to-order, all after we personally sustainably harvest the trees on our homestead.

We adore the size of this finely detailed artwork, delicately crafted at 6" inches tall. It adds a touch of refined elegance to any space, offering a subtle yet impactful presence that complements without overpowering.

Ordering Details:

•Our current batch of wood is Cherry. This is hardwood. We never use plywood for quality, health and sustainability reasons. After engraving, the wood is stained. We use an Oak Brown tinted wood stain.

•Duplicates of your initial order are available at a discounted rate with the artist's fee removed.

•Should we happen to sell out of our current batch of Homestead Harvested™ wood before our next batch is fully processed and dried, we exclusively source our backup wood from a local forestry specialist who's heart also aligns with our sustainability initiatives and who we absolutely love to work with! If Cherry is unavailable in that situation, you will always receive a traceably and sustainably-sourced hardwood alternative. Your packing slip always includes all of the details of the wood that we used for your order.

•IMPORTANT ORDERING NOTE: If you would like baby's name on the back, please include the exact spelling including how you would like it capitalized in your shopping cart notes. The standard font that you will receive is pictured in the sample photo. We are happy to accommodate font requests. If you would like a style other than what is pictured, please include your request in the shopping cart notes at checkout and we will follow-up with you once your order is placed.
