Sandbox Kit - Four Boards

Introducing the simple Forest School meets Homesteading SANDBOX KIT!

Crafted from sustainably sourced, locally milled rough cut wood, these 100% untreated boards are both eco-friendly and budget-friendly. We leave the bark on for a rustic charm. And don't worry about maintenance – as the bark naturally separates over time (usually in a year or two), it reveals a beautiful wood underneath.

Our aim with these sandbox kits is simple: to offer families in our community a local, healthy, budget-friendly and sustainable option compared to pricey commercial sandboxes that often are not non-toxic. Crafted from Eastern Hemlock, these approx. 8" tall beds come in the sizes of 4'x4', 4'x6' and 4'x8', with our personal family favorite being the 4'x4'. This kit is for the four boards. Customers typically use 2-3 deck screws on each corner to assemble (not-included).

These are exclusively available for local pickup - just south of Buffalo. As they are made to order, please allow 1-2 weeks for production. Pictured are our garden beds with four 4'x4' beds and one 4'x8' with space at the end of the 4'x8' for a garden tea table set. The sandbox kit is the same as our raised garden bed kit. We line the bed with a tarp, fill with sand and use another tarp to cover it. When creating a Forest School space at home for your kiddos, it's fun to incorporate one of these sandboxes in the raised garden bed design, so we welcome you to buy a kit of raised beds and simply use one as a sandbox as another great option!
