The magic of the moon is something that we all feel. How many humans have looked to the moon and made dreams and wishes... or spoke from the heart to her, in a quiet moment of solitude... or found yourself self-reflecting in her reflected light.

So many cultures draw a Spiritual connection to the moon. As a totem, some may enjoy connecting to her divine feminine energy. Others find the moon to be a helpful reminder that life happens in cycles of light and dark... and that the light always returns. The moon also is a symbol of restorative hope and guidance... a beacon in the dark.

This collection was created with a few additional intentions in mind. You may choose to select one of the moons simply because you enjoy the look of that phase of the moon. You can also choose to select the moon phase that reflects a date that holds a special place in your heart.

If you are unsure what phase the moon was in on a particular date, we are happy to select the correct moon phase for you. Please (1) add any of the moon phase pendants to your order and (2) include a note for us to select the correct phase along with the date of significance in your shopping cart notes at checkout.

Ideas of dates to celebrate:

• The birth of a child: this makes a great gift for new moms and dads and when ordering two, it's a very special matching set for new parents. Some parents will layer necklaces, a moon for each of their children. 
• A wedding: celebrating the official creation of a united love.
• A graduation: marking the transition from one phase of life into the next.
• The date that someone passed: worn as a memorial token of love, honor and remembrance.
• A pet's birthday: celebrating our family members and our journey in this life with them.

Added option:

• The moon phase pendants are a particular favorite of ours to combine with our custom engraving option. If you have a special date, we can create a pendant of the phase of the moon of that date with a special note on the back. For example, if your child was born on a day that the moon was a waning crescent, we can engrave your child's name on the back of our waning crescent pendant necklace.
• This also is a great custom option for a wedding gift. We can create a necklace in the phase of the moon of the date of a wedding with the couple's last name on the back.

These pendants are meticulously crafted from maple hardwood, featuring hand-drawn designs, engraved details, and a range of finish options. Choose your preferred wood finish, necklace type, and metal locking ring to customize your piece. Opt for our custom hand-painted option for a personalized touch, allowing you to send reference photos or color preferences for a truly unique piece. We can paint one of our goat pendants to look like your pet goat, for example. Each pendant measures 1" on the longest side and is stained or hand-painted with acrylic paint and finished with a matte acrylic sealer. To place a custom order, simply provide your order number and instructions via email or text. Our connector rings are lead, nickel, and cadmium-free, with options including Sterling Silver 925 and antique copper-plated brass. Please note potential slight color variations, as we hand-mix our paint. Assembled with care, our jewelry includes small pieces and comes with a choking hazard warning.
